This is an attempt to characterize a person who is confused most of the times, disturbed at times and funny always although he doesn’t intend to be.
I am naming this character as ‘Subodh’*. This Subodh is like the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ Subodh, made me laugh every time he came on screen but he had no sense of humor.
Subodh is someone who takes the tension away… when tired, u talk to him and u r rejuvenated; when u r depressed, u talk about him and u will come out of depression… He can make anyone laugh at any time… although he does that unknowingly but he is a tension reliever…
U can talk about him and feel happy… he can talk in a strange and funny way, walk in strange and funny way. So, Subodh is someone who will make u laugh the moment u hear him talk or u see him or u talk about him…
Whenever u hear someone talk about him or think of him u r reminded of all the funny moments u have had in life… and all u want to do is laugh :0 :0
Why Subodh???
This is a tough one… its just that I find this name so funny that every time I hear this name I tend to associate it with something funny… It is one of my idiosyncrasies that I tend to associate a few names and people with other object/animals/things etc… :)
* People whose parents had named them Subodh and who have read this and got offended… Don’t mind… u can call this fellow by any name that will make u laugh; u can use my name also. ;)

Though i do not know about this subodh in "Dil Chahta Hai", I have had the pleasure of hearing this Subodh live. They are funny, but all Subodhs i know have been very clever. irrespective of the way they talk or the way they walk, whether they are dressed formally wearing orange shows or dressed in casuals, Whether he is the only one sitting in the cab or not, They do something or the other and ensure that their work is done!!!!
