This is about a conflict i was in when i was travelling from chennai to blore by the day train. I got a seat near the gate.
I was deeply engrossed reading a novel. Then the novel became dragging so I decided to take a break from reading. When i looked up i saw a lady standing at the door.
She looked tired because of standing for a long time. She didnt look like she would travel without ticket. So, i was wondering that it would have been some final minute plan and she got no tickets.
And then the conflict started - I and II (Thoughts in my mind) are the two sides in the confict.
I - Men are supposed to be Chivalrous... so let me offer my seat to the lady.
II - But why??? U have a reserved seat and she doesn't have one... why should u offer her ur seat?
I - The lady seems to be tired and it looks like last minute plans and all that.
II - She didnt even ask u for a seat... why u want to be a hero??
I - I am just trying to be nice...
II - What about the rules?? Why would people reserve seats if they find people like u travelling
I - i wont do this for everyone... her's looks like a genuine case
II - No... dont do it!!
I was still to decide and that lady moved on to the other compartment. The confict got resolved partially.
But the Question remains unanswered, what should have i done??
If i had taken up a course on 'Conflict Management', had i been in a better position to decide?? Don't know/Can't say ;)

Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.
Its a movie for which i can't go ga-ga but it was a decent one. The movie didnt make me feel real happy and it also didnt bore me.
The movie would have done better with a good ending. I don't know if the director was trying to do a spoof on something with super heroes and 'the help from God' ( I know i have spoiled the movie for some ;) )
For this movie, the award goes to -
Abhay-Minisha - for being the most surreal pair.
Rahul-Amisha - for being the most irritating pair.
Boman Irani-Shabana Azmi - for being the most happening pair.
Vikram Chatwal - Shandhya Mridul - for being the most compromising pair.
KK Menon - Raima Sen - for being the most rocking pair.
Ranbir - Dia - Arjun Rampal: for being the most confused pair, sorry trio!
I would give it 3/5... 1 solely on 'Sajna Vari' song and KK Menon ;)

Predictions!!
I will not be rooting for India in the cricket WC bcos of their jerseys… I didn’t like wat Nike has come up with… I know its terrible thing to judge a team that way but that’s the way it is for me
And a Subodh I know from office says it’s rigged and SA will win. When I started laughing hearing this he said that ‘it is decided at a very high level’. Wat level was he talking about I have no clue but yes I will put my money on SA this time, it would have been India but for their jersey s ;)
Champions league – Barca all the way :)
EPL – I m for Chelsea but it is very difficult for them to overcome ManU, but I m stil hoping ;)

Something was missing!!
Good actors. Good sets and grand palace. Sanjuy Dutt was brilliant and so was Raima Sen though they were not the main characters.
The Saif-Vidya romance was dragged.

Caller Tunes!
It has come to such a state that people identify others with their caller tunes. Oh! That fellow who has this and this caller tune.
The other day my sis asked me, 'Bhai, suggest some good caller tune for me'.
The best I could come up with was, 'Put something u identify yourself with'.
I don’t know why I said so but when later I was thinking about it -
Wat does a caller tune say about the person on the other side of the phone... What kind of tune would anyone like to put... lets me take the song 'Main hoon Don...' and now who all would put this tune -
* Someone who's name is Don. Had my name been Don I would have :)
* Criminals and Dons or someone aspiring to be a Don or Criminal ;)
* Someone who liked the movie or the music or the song.
* Someone who is a big fan of Big B or SRK and by putting this tune he/she is paying tribute to the film and their acting.
* Someone who thinks that this tune is happening because the people who he considers hip have put this tune.
And there can be many more reasons but these are the ones I can think of.
I am sure these mobile service providers make huge money out of this caller tune business. Latest one being ‘greet ur valentine with some special song’ – they don’t miss out on any season and reason ;)
As far as I m concerned I would not spend my money to make people have an impression of me based on some caller tune. This is my current state of mind, I have always been a believer of the fact that things change and people change... so a time can come when I'll also put some caller tune but for now I would rather spent that money on pani-puris (aka Gupchups, Golgappas, Putchkas).
* I wonder what kind of caller tunes Subodh s wil have… I should call a few of them and check it out ;)

Mr. Subodh!!
This is an attempt to characterize a person who is confused most of the times, disturbed at times and funny always although he doesn’t intend to be.
I am naming this character as ‘Subodh’*. This Subodh is like the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ Subodh, made me laugh every time he came on screen but he had no sense of humor.
Subodh is someone who takes the tension away… when tired, u talk to him and u r rejuvenated; when u r depressed, u talk about him and u will come out of depression… He can make anyone laugh at any time… although he does that unknowingly but he is a tension reliever…
U can talk about him and feel happy… he can talk in a strange and funny way, walk in strange and funny way. So, Subodh is someone who will make u laugh the moment u hear him talk or u see him or u talk about him…
Whenever u hear someone talk about him or think of him u r reminded of all the funny moments u have had in life… and all u want to do is laugh :0 :0
