Fed Ex!

If Roger Federer is able to stay at No. 1 position in the ATP rankings for another 4 weeks he will get the record of being at that position for the maximum no. of weeks at one go. He has been at No. 1 since Feb 2nd 2004. And i hope he remains at that position for double the time he has stayed till now, for his play is so flawless.

He mercilessly kills the opponents. He is so smooth with his shots and they seem so effortless that they look like the knocks before the match. Few people argue that Federer has been lucky not to have much competition, they say that Sampras played at a time where there were so many great players. I had been a fan of Sampras but in a Sampras-Federer match i would choose Federer. It is no joke to be the numero uno for two year. These two year he has faced players with different possible games and the only alluring feat for him is beating Rafa Nadal in the French open. I hope that happens this year in the French Open Finals. :)

I am backing Federer to win the Australian Open and make this record. Among the women i am backing Hingis if she is able to beat Clijsters in the Qtrs.

FedEx is the undoubtedly the best tennis player today. Whenever he is in trouble or in a critical game, he effortlessly shifts gears crushes is opponent.
I don’t think it fare to compare FedEx with players of previous generations.
Pete Sampras is one of the Tennis greatest Legends, It is not an easy joke to win 15 grand slam.
If I have to choose between FedEx and Pistol Pete, I will go with the latter as he has an an powerful and accurate serve, Excellent baseline game. One of the best Serve and volley game as said by Beckker .
FedEX is my pick from the current lot of players.
With respect to French open….. I really don’t consider it as a big tournament as the game speed is very slow there. So all your powerful, clever shots are of no use.
If you look at the career titles of French Open champions, they would have rarely won other Grand Slam.
Finally to end both FedEx and Pistol Pete are masters of Grass court.
