Although this movie borrows most of the plot from the French movie, ‘Le Diner De Cons’… its still a must watch for Vinay Pathak. He is absolutely brilliant. I could have watched the movie on mute, because Vinay s expressions were enough to make me laugh.
I felt bad that the movie was short one, when it ended. I would love to watch it again.
As Bora righty pointed out… Vinay s character perfectly fits my description of Mr. Subodh!

Vinay Pathak is definitely one of the true avatars of the modern hing-lish comedy. Khosla ka Ghosla was another fine piece of comedy which potrayed the talent of this plump chap. Definitely a collector's item.(I mean the movie!)
My rating for the movie is same as Heda's and I am all eyes to see Vinay Pathak in Bheja Fry - 2 if they make one!

Khosla Ka Ghosla was a brilliant brilliant movie in my opinion - Anupam Kher was mindblowing , so were vinay , ranvir and the rest. Bheja Fry does justice to Vinay Pathak's talent , but otherwise does not match upto KKG.
I dont know about KKG ( have not seen it yet , but bagh keeps raving about, but then bagh does not know hindi* ) but Bheja Fry was gut splitting 2 hours for me.
I think ranvir could have been used in a better way. But it was not just Vinay pathak for me. I thought Rajat Kapoor was pretty good too.He never tried doing more than what his role required . He did just enough, which went well to highlight pathak's work.
* remember the KBC questions on degchi,kadchi and the rest.:P
@suhas: I liked both the movies, but Bheja Fry was superb bcos Vinay... as i had written i could watch Bheja Fry on mute but not KKG ;)
@himanshu: yeah Rajat was good and even Sarika was not bad for her small role... guess have to watch it again for that KBC Q, dont remember it exactly
Indian films have surely taken a turn in the right direction...
to witness movies like KKG n Bheja is a big big high!!

I would say it is a coming of age movie for " cheeni bharpoor" romantic movies in hindi cinema. for that reason alone it is a must watch.
